Hike to the Hackelhütte

On the sunny south side of the Tennengebirge, where the otherwise rugged mountains show their gentle side, the Heinrich-Hackel-Hütte is enthroned above the softly mobile Werfenweng. From the cosy terrace you can look far into the Salzburger Land. In only 1.5 hours, the 600 meters of altitude difference from the head of the Wengerau valley can be covered up to the hut - an insider tip for families and pleasure hikers if the path is to be the destination.
