Hochkönig

Clean mountain air, towering cliffs, breathtaking views, miraculous nature. The ‘Hochkönig’ is with 2941 meters above sea level the highest mountain in the ‘Berschtesgadener’-Alps. Via a tough hike you can reach the ‘Matrashaus’ which is located at the summit. But even from further away you can gaze at it. With about 340 km of certified hiking-routes, e-bike and mountainbike roads and more than 50 summits there is enough to explore around the ‘Hochkönig’. More advantages are the summer-mountain-railways, adventure playgrounds and a summer-toboggan run. With just about 30 km away from ‘DasEulersberg’ the ‘Hochkönig’ should definetly be on your bucket list.
